In the fitting room, you hear French, Italian, English, and German spoken and topics of conversation are varied.
Now that the prosthesis has been adjusted, it is time for fitting - the moment of suspense has arrived.
Everybody hopes that the prosthesis is a good fit.

They listen, they provide reassurance, they smile, they wait ....
Time, tiredness, pressure: none of these matter any more ...
Only the goal is important :
"The client has to feel comfortable with the prosthesis".

I'm hoping to go to the beach ... on holiday.
Normally I get up at 5 in the morning. I take the train from Moutier to Berne to go to work in a bookshop. I'm on my feet all day, plus there's lots of stairs to climb.
My problems ended the day I contacted Botta. I can't describe their technique but it's the opposite of what the others do. What's more, I've had the same prosthesis for 6 years. And the problem's been with me since I was 13 !"

So it's partly my fault that I'm often having to refit the prosthesis.
Still, it's only once or twice a year.
And afterwards I can drive along Italian roads, which are generally in a much worse state than in Switzerland.
